One-on-one Training

Private training at your home

Many people prefer to take dog training lessons in the comfort of their own home - it is a great learning environment for both dog and owner. One-on-one sessions allow for a tailored, individual approach.

All one-on-one training sessions are with Sue Walsh, certified Dog Behaviour Consultant. The first session with new clients is a 2 hour session where Sue visits you at your home, to meet your dog and understand your lifestyle. During this time Sue will get to work on a training plan for you and your dog to follow after the session.

This initial 2 hour session is $175 incl GST. Sue will send you a written report afterwards with her advice. Sue is available for 2 hour sessions with new clients usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 10am and 6pm.

Follow up training sessions are usually about 1 hour and cost $115 (incl. GST). A follow up training session can take place at your home again, or any other place that's required to help your dog move forward with training.

"The work Sue did with my little dog Bow and I was a real help. Bow is now more fun to have around and we both enjoy doing the training" T. Knapp

Virtual Training

Virtual Training

Dog Almighty is based in Motueka. Sue visits clients most places in Nelson and Tasman Bay.

Are you from out of town? Ever consider Virtual Dog Training? Taking advice via video call is more worthwhile than you think. Most of the first session with new clients is spent sitting and talking at their kitchen table or on their sofa so it's not really that different to a video call.
